Choose your package

One package per language. In .NET, electronic signature is a separate module.

Your environment Package Target Installation
.NET Framework (Windows) SecureExchanges net462 dotnet add package SecureExchanges
.NET Framework with digital signature SecureExchanges.Signature net472 dotnet add package SecureExchanges.Signature
.NET 8 and later (Windows, Linux) SecureExchanges.NetCore net8.0 dotnet add package SecureExchanges.NetCore
.NET 8 with digital signature SecureExchanges.Signature.NetCore net8.0 dotnet add package SecureExchanges.Signature.NetCore
Python 3.10 and later secure-exchanges-sdk Python 3.10+ pip install secure-exchanges-sdk
Python with digital signature secure-exchanges-sdk[signature] Python 3.10+ pip install "secure-exchanges-sdk[signature]"
PHP 8.2 and later secure-exchanges/sdk PHP 8.2+ composer require secure-exchanges/sdk
Tip

Choosing in .NET. Deploying on Linux, in a container or in Azure Functions: SecureExchanges.NetCore. Existing Windows application on .NET Framework: SecureExchanges. Add the matching .Signature module if you get documents signed.

Warning

Digital signature on .NET 8: prerequisites. PDF certification uses headless Chromium. On Linux and in containers, it must be present in the image; in Azure Functions, only a Linux container works. See Docker and Linux and Azure Functions.

Digital signature in Python

The signature extra installs Playwright, but not the browser it drives. Install it once on every machine that certifies PDFs; it weighs about 150 MB:

playwright install chromium

Without this browser, PDF certification fails.

PHP prerequisites

Prerequisite Detail
PHP 8.2 or later, 64-bit.
Required extensions openssl, json, mbstring and curl for the SDK; sockets for the library that drives Chrome.
Recommended extension pqcrypto, the native implementation of the post-quantum algorithms (ML-KEM, ML-DSA). The SDK recommends it in production: it is faster than the pure-PHP implementation.
Digital signature Chrome or Chromium installed on the machine. The SDK looks for it in the usual locations on Windows, Linux and macOS; elsewhere, give its path in the SE_CHROME_PATH environment variable.
